    Eiko Hashiba

    Eiko is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VQ, a leading global expert network service headquartered in Japan. Prior to founding VQ, Eiko spent five years as an investment professional at Unison Capital, one of Japan's leading buyout funds. Before that, she had worked in Goldman Sachs Japan's Investment Banking Division and also in L’Oréal K.K. as a Controller. Eiko holds a BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo, and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

    Soshi Hanamura

    Soshi is Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at VQ. Prior to VQ, Soshi had worked in GREE's game platform user acquisition team and also at Nihon Gigei Inc. as the Development Team Leader of 'Rakumo', a Google apps-based groupware. Soshi earned his Master's degree in Environment and Information Sciences from Yokohama National University.

    Hidetoshi Uriu

    Hidetoshi started his career at the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in 1999, and became Managing Director in 2012. During his nineteen years there, he led various high profile M&A and financing transactions for Technology, Media and Telecom companies. He left Goldman in 2018 to join VQ as COO and is also a member of the Board of Directors.

    Toru Yasuoka

    Toru joined JP Morgan Securities in 1999 and served as an equity analyst in small cap sector. In 2004, he joined Unison Capital, one of the leading buyout funds in Japan. Over the 14 years in Unison, he contributed to value creation for its portfolio companies as a member of their Board of Directors. Toru joined VQ in 2018 as CFO. He holds a BA in Law from Tokyo University.

    Ryo Tanaka

    After graduating from Waseda University, Ryo joined Sumitomo Corporation, one of the biggest trading and investment companies in Japan. During his time there, Ryo was responsible for trading and business development in sulphuric acid mainly in China and Southeast Asia markets. After working at Triumph Co., a HR consulting company, Ryo joined VQ in 2015.

    Yurika Imuta

    Yurika has over 10 years of working experience at JPMorgan and had worked in the Internal Audit Departments in New York and Tokyo offices, building her expertise on control framework in the global market. She joined VQ. in 2016, and is now responsible for Compliance. Yurika holds a BA in Law from Keio University.

    Yoshiyuki Tanaka

    Yoshiyuki joined Dai Nippon Printing, and was engaged in research and development of natural language processing technology and the launch of a photo-sharing SNS. After working as a project manager for native app development at GREE, Yoshiyuki joined VQ in 2017,and heads the VQ development group. He holds a MA in Media Science from Tokyo University of Technology.

    Takeshi Shichikura

    Takeshi joined Development Bank of Japan Inc., and was involved in local economic surveys, long-term financing for medium-sized and large enterprises, and venture investment at DBJ Capital before joining VQ in 2016. Takeshi is the general manager of FIG division. He holds a BA in Sociology from Hitotsubashi University.

    Kohei Katada

    Kohei joined Morgan Stanley Securities (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities) in April 2003 and worked in the investment banking division. Thereafter, he joined Lifenet Insurance Company in March 2008 rose to the position of CFO in May 2013. In 2014, he joined SmartNews Inc. Vice President of Finance, where he was involved in raising ¥8.6 billion in capital.

    Masako Kubo

    Masako is a qualified law practitioner in Japan and started her legal career at a Japanese law firm. She also hold a LLM from the United States, and has previously worked at Allen & Gledhill LLP and Nishimura & Asahi (Singapore) LLP (subsequently transferred to MUFG Bank Ltd.). Masako joined VQ in March 2018.

    Masaaki Aoyama

    Masaaki graduated from Kyoto University and then joined Dream Incubator Inc., a strategic consulting firm, where he became an executive officer in June 2015. In June 2012, he became an outside director, then director and managing executive officer in April 2016 at ipet Insurance Co.,Ltd. which went public in 2018 on TSE Mothers.

    Yoshiaki Ueno

    After graduating from the faculty of economics from the University of Tokyo, Yoshiaki started his audit and accounting career in Asahi Shinwa Co., Ltd in 1993 and subsequrntly joined in Shinsei Bank in 2003. Thereafter, he joined ANZ Banking Group where he served as CFO of Tokyo Branch. In 2017, Yoshiaki joined Seven Seas Advisors Co., Ltd., an independent investment management company. He is also an external auditor of Loadstar Capital K.K.

    Director of Asia Operations

    Leong Loh

    Leong is a veteran in the expert network industry and previously spent over 12 years at Guidepoint as Director of Asia where he pioneered and supervised the Asia business and servicing operations. Prior to that, Leong had held a variety of consulting and investment research roles, including stints at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Leong holds an MBA and Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
